Barbara Davidson a female photographer from Los Angeles Times, was announced as the winner of Pulitzer prize in photography.  After hearing the results the first words from the photographer was – “I’m just shocked by this honor, I hope it will help draw public attention to the problem of violence on the streets and its consequences for innocent citizens. ” Davidson received the award for a series of photographs depicting those who have suffered from street violence, many of whom had nothing to blame. Davidson has spent nearly two years in a closed and secretive societies of southern Los Angeles, Compton and Watts.

    Your photo descriptions are deplorable. They make a mockery of the pain the subjects went through. How can a Pulitzer Prize winner allow such a disgraceful commentary underneath their work? How can we get to know these people if we have no clue what happened?!? Get your crap together.
