The prestigious awards in photo journalism “Pictures Of The Year International” were announced by the Annenberg Space Organization.  In this competition, the four main categories were  Photographer year (newspaper), Photo of the Year (freelance or agency), outlook, global view.

The winners of the International Award in Photography for the Conservation of Wildlife were published.  In total more than fifty works in 10 categories were announced.  The categories are Special Award, Landscape, Wildlife, Flora, Scuba, Community at Risk, Environment at Risk, Documenting project related to conservation of wildlife, Puget Sound is in danger, student work.

Lots of aircrafts took part in the Victory Parade in Red Square Moscow. There were more than 820,000 live visitors for this 65th anniversary of victory day. In continuation of the post on Volcanic eruption in southern Iceland, here we present the pictures of the last week where the ash from the volcano Eyyafyatlayokudl is affecting the air traffic and millions of people are affected all over the world. Airspace over Europe is still closed and flights delayed or canceled altogether. Some government agencies and airlines have already begun to argue about the ban on flights.

The reed flute cave is the largest and most scenic of the karst caves in the Chinese tourist city of Guilin.  Guilin – ancient picturesque city, located in southern China. The Chinese themselves call Guilin, the most beautiful city in the Middle Kingdom. Guilin is a tourist center, thanks to the wonderful nature. On the north-west, seven miles from the center of town is Mount Guanminshan, on the southern side of which sits a rock ‘reed flute. In this rock is unique cave, Called the Cave of reed flutes.
