Cucamelon: Cucumber in grape size like watermelon

Cucamelons = Cucumber + Melon Hybrid You Didn't Know Existed

Seen for the first time cucamelon (Melothria scabra), one would think that this is a tiny watermelon on berry size of grapes. In reality it is a kind of small cucumber cultivated in Mexico and Central America. Despite the appearance of watermelon, taste refers more cucumber and even has a slightly sour taste like pickle.

Cucamelons are the new cotton candy grapes and they’re extremely photogenic and way too cute not to Instagram!

How have we just now found out about these?! Thank you internet.
